We will take detailed photographs of the exterior condition of the tank looking for any damage before we start the rust removal process upon arrival before we preform an initial cleaning to ready your tank for the inspection and rust removal process.

Detailed Interior Camera Inspection
We will inspect, photograph, and document all rust and corrosion in your tank.

Restoration Planning
We will assess the amount and location of rust and corrosion to determine tank health and the specific process and formulations needed to process the tank.

Process Tank(s)
We will process your tank(s) on our machine for 8 to 16 hours until all rust and corrosion has been removed.
Some bikes have two sperate fuel tanks.

Final Cleaning, Inspection and Report
After processing, we will provide before and after photographs and issue a report detailing the restoration process and an estimate of your tanks condition and any areas of concern.

Packing and Shipment
Upon final inspection and report your tank will be shipped back to you…

Are there any toxic chemicals?
No. Our rust removal process uses no toxic products or chemicals.
Will it hurt the paint?
No. Each tank is protected with a tank bib and our product has a natural P.H. level that does not harm paint, chrome, or plastics. Show quality tanks are coated with a special wax for additional protection.
What if my tank is unsuitable for restoration?
If we find that your tank has some kind of issue that would prevent it from being processed. We will document and photograph the problem, return the tank unprocessed with the report and photos and refund your money, less a $50 report and handling fee.
Is there a discount for restoration shops?
Absolutely, we are very interested in repeat business relationships. Contact us to discuss.
How long does it take?
We typically receive, process and return tanks within one to two weeks. We offer an expedite (front of the que) service for poor planning and emergency’s.
